Equine Rescue and Adoption Program

There are many horses in the world that are being neglected, mistreated, starved, and basically just not being cared for. There are also horses who are very much loved and the owners can no longer care for them, or they may have a medical condition that requires a lot time and money. This is where we come in.

Helping Hands is looking to make a difference. We are take in horses from all walks of life. Rescued, Retired, Donated, as well as horses rescued from the Auction Barn -- we help them all. These horses would get a general physical by our consulting veterinarian and a farrier, a diet that is suited to the specific needs of the horse, along with daily exercise and grooming. Most of all, they will get the attention they need. We try and find the best homes possible to place the horses once they leave Helping Hands.
